how do you guys like them ? I found a good deal on one. Wondering if it's worth it. specifically with the Triangle Reticle BAC. thanks |
| While I have not specifically tried teh TA31A, I had a Compact ACOG (3X) with a trianle reticle and did not care for it too much. It is 'ok', but I found that the reticle covers up too much target from 2-300 yards. Chevron is a much better design, IMO, but I am sure there are those who differ. |
Now if trijicon would listen and put a Chevron in an Accupoint...!!! ![]() The TA11F might be another to consider though, it has longer eye relief and a larger feild of view. |

I prefer the Triangle it is brighter than the Chevron or the Doughnut making it faster for sight acquisition and unlike the doughnut it has a nice point for aiming. If they made a hollow triangle.... oh yeah! |
| I've been using a TA31a for about 5 years now and I love it. I did some close range (10-25 yards) rapid fire drills with it today. I've also shot out to 300 yards with it with no problems at all. The nice thing about the solid triangle is that it can be used like a dot at close range. It works well for me, and I can still get well under an inch with handloads @ 100 yards off the bench. What's not to like. |
