You're not looking through the sight backwards are you? Also, if the sight is turned up too high for the light condition it will produce glare. If you can make out a red ring around the outside of the lens, it's turned up too high. If none of this helps call John at Aimpoint in Chantilly, VA. |
Yes, if you look through a lot of red dots from the other end, you can see the reflection of the LED that makes the dot down and to the side, much like what you show. You can also see this with the illumination turned up too high. |

Nope, defenetly don't have it on backwerds. I aint that big a morone.![]() I think I'm just going to live with it. Not sure its worth the trouble to send it back. Even though I know the good folks at Aimpoint would make it right. I spent some time on the range and it was'ent a big issue. Its not really that noticeable in the sunlight anyhow. And in dim light I'll just ignore it. Its deffanatly not so bad that I would mestake it for the reticle. |
