Sorry if this sounds silly.  I've got 12 years experience with the M16/M4 but most of that is using iron sights.  Using the iron sights I was trained to put my nose to the charging handle for a consistent sight picture but I don't find this works well with scopes.  It seems to put my eye a bit low to look through the scope correcty.  I've got an ACOG TA31F and a Simmons 6.5-20X50.  Does anyone have any advice for me or a good link to read up on?

I physically can not make a NTCH stock weld with a scope installed. So the next best thing is to get the best stock weld I can and adjust the scope eye relief accordingly.
