I need some help with purchasing a new scope for my Armalite AR10. Ive been looking at the Accupoint series pretty closely and am pretty sure I'm gonna go with one. On a carbine model AR, what power would you recommend? Money isn't so much an issue right now so what would be the best choice? Flattop upper by the way. 1.25-4x24 3-9x40 2.5-10x56 Also is a larue mount really necessary? My only concern with the 2.5-10 is the size. Is a scope of that power too big for the carbine model AR? If anyone with experience has any suggestions about other optic options please share. Thanks again. |
Before you can get useful advise on choosing an optic, you need to give us you intended use for the carbine. Is a LaRue mount necessary? Depends, is a repeatable zero necessary to you? LaRue Tactical is and always will be the only way optics attach to my ARs |
