Anyone with any experience with these scopes, or does anyone have any close up pics, the pics at Midway are not very good. Seems like a lot of scope for the money.

Thanks

There have been a few discussions here on them:

Some people say they're similar to Vector scopes, which have been discussed lately as well.

get the Vector from amazon for $200. it is the same same regardless what counter sniper may claim about it being made in the US.

For $200 it's a very decent low power zoom, at $400 even with a bunch of bollocks about "rare earth sealed" and suchlike thrown in, I'd pass.....

I met with the owner of the company at the SHOT SHOW, and the products did look good compared to the higher prices equivalents.

I ended up purchasing a 1-4x24 for a friend to use on his 556, and so far, its been worth the price paid.

I am picky about my products, and the president of Dark Ops gave me a guarantee that if the product was returned for any reason, it would either be replaced or repaired within 24hrs of arrival at his NY location.

The new packaging also was impressive.... (It listed more information about contracts, and why they were worth the money... but I gave the box away with my friend when it was mounted on the 556.)

well, I'll see him on monday and I'll get more info on it then..

OH! I almost forgot... the local west coast rep lives near me, and I'm considering calling him up with all of these questions to get some answers for everyone.

complete scam.

I called the company in Rochester NY at 866 883 9444.

Frank Miller, the "owner" of the company called me back from 417 883 9444.

He cursed.

He doesn't know what Betryllium is.

he doesn't know who "Trademarked" (TM) it.

He won't give an address for the manufacturing facility in Rochester NY - it's none of my business.

he said there's a waiting list 12 miles long for the Titanium scopes.

He's basically a complete poser.

Beware.

The burden of proof appears to be on those who think this IS a legitimate company.

Caveat Emptor.

Scam, scam, scam.

I'm glad you like the box (package), please mount it on your rifle and see if the box holds zero.

Forgive me for not believing the scopes are anything but Chicom POS, especially with their marketing ploy.  Do you think it's better than the Short Dot, SN4, NF 1-4x, Leupold Mk4, ELCAN Specter DR?  Please prove it with empirical test results and data. "Look good compared to the higher prices equivalents", which scopes might you be talking about?

Please ask him to explain the following:
Bertrillium-Zantitium,TitaniStar 68 Rockwell AntiScratch, InfraShield proprietary Daylight InfraRed spectrum blocker, CSO HydroShear Moisture Displacement Coating, CSO DustCaster IonCharge, and rare earth/nitrogen/argon gas purged, hard earth sealed.

As to their justification for its cost, have you read the manual that came with the scope?  If you're not in the least doubtful of their claims which amount to utter nonsense, I'd say you're pretty gullible.  For hours of laughter, read their manual

They must be the first in the world to claim "utterly flawless transmissivity", whatever the fuck that means.  I've yet to see anything man made that's 100% perfect.  Of course, according to MIT, it is possible to make a perfect lens, I rather doubt these clowns from China would be the first to achieve it.

By the way, ask the owner how ShootTheM14 (the CS shill) is doing.

No shit, If they would just live up and say. "Hey, we got these Chinese made scope, and so far they are pretty decent, give one a try, ect, ect." Instead of the usual, "Guns of the Spezul Forces", and "super secret dark ops contract" bullshit. We might actually buy one..

I'd swear, they must be related to the damned Hesse family..

HAHA looked on the website, and it said they came about do to the need of "Sterile. untraceable" scopes for the Special clandestine forces. That's why their scopes are plasted with "Property of the US Military" and "Special Forces".. Hosers..
