| I prefer the aimpoint over the acog because it works better in certain conditions. I found the acog almost useless inside 50 meters, especially if working under dim lighting or at nighttime. However, I've seen more aimpoints than acogs crap out, but that's to be expected with the multiple parts, and the electronics. I think the best option out right now is the aimpoint, along with the X3 magnifier. Also, the acog with the Docter Optics red dot on the top is a valid contender. If I could afford that $1400 piece of glass, believe me, It'd be sitting on top of my rifle! |
