I’ve done a lot of searching and I can’t seem to find a post with exactly what I’m looking for. I want to know you guys’ thoughts on my front sight options. I’m trying to find the difference and decide between a standard A2 sight base, a standard A2 housing with a National Match Sight, and a full National Match front sight. This will be for fun at the ranch and IDPA 3 gun matches that I’d like to start shooting. I will have a low power variable scope, such as Millet DMS-1 or Pentax Gameseeker 1.5-6x40. I was planning to use high see-through rings such as the Burris Xtreme Tactical. Is it realistic to be able to see through scope rings and shoot accurately? Doesn’t seem like you’d get a good cheek/head position like this…I don’t know. How necessary is it to have BUIS for what I’m doing? Should I just get a lo-pro gas block and save the weight? Thanks in advance guys. |
