Question about zeroing ma TA01 NSN. My range has only 50 yds or 100 yds, which range should I zero at? I zero my irons at the 50 yd range, but I wasn't sure about the ACOG.

Well what configuration is your AR?

A 20 inch flattop with the 01NSN using 55gr ammo zero dead on at 100

a 14.5/16 inch flattop with the 01NSN shooting 62gr ammo, zero dead on at 100.

It's a 16" Noveske chrome lined recon barrel on a flat top upper.

In the optics forum, theres a nice post about this, I suggest you check that, but I will quote from it for you.

For a Flattop 16" firing M193:
Sight in at 100 per your manual. You'll be a half-inch high at 300, dead on at all other ranges until 500. At 500, the M193 starts losing juice fast on this trajectory, you'll be 2" low at 500 and 9" low by 600.

For a Flattop 16" firing M855:
Sight in per your manual. If you can notice this difference on the BDC you don't need to be asking me for advice.
