I am looking for a mount to set my AR up for hunting. I just spent most of my money on my first AR so price is a concern. What would be some good mounts that will fit most 3x9 scopes. Also does a standard front sight interfere with a scope on an AR? Thanks |
| Burris Zee Rings are what I have on my AR15 for coyotes. I already had a set of medium height rings and added a set of YHM 3/4" long Picatinny riser mounts to get enough height. They also aid with return to zero when I remove and replace the scope (it ain't perfect, though). The front sight won't interfere on higher magnification, but you may see some shadow from the front sight down at 3-4 power. |
