The reticle on my TA31F-RCO M4 is canted noticably to the right when the scope is attached to my WOA M4 upper. What's wrong and how can I fix it?

I'm afraid the receiver may be distorted, but this would not make sense. It is new and I used all the appropriate tools when I installed the barrel.

is ti the retc. thats canted inside the scope or the scope itself?
i guess it could be your mount is machined a little off.  id try it out
on another upper and see if the problem follows it.  could
also try a different mount if you have one, or try mounting it in a different
spot on your upper. more forward or more back to see if there is something
going on there.

my guess would be the upper. I've got a flat top upper made by a reputable company that is too narrow, and everything mounted to it leans to the left, causing optics and whatever else to "cant". I am only using a carry handle BUIS, but had to adjust the windage almost all the way over to compensate. I agree with checking the optic on another rifle.
