| Any recommendations for a good quality bore sight? Also how close to the actual POI does the bore sight give you? I know that you should go to the range as soon as possible after a bore sight setting. All comments welcome. |

A boresight is a pretty good tool, they will get you close enough to save some rounds zeroing, but they're not at all the final word. They are however an excellent tool for getting a close zero. The last time I used one probably put me within four centimeters of zero. Don't remember exactly. Just make sure you get a good one, with an adjustable beam that you can collimate. The one the military uses is manufactured by Insight, the same company who makes the AN/PEQ-2A. HTH, ~Augee |
