Does ARMS #40 rear BUIS come in different packages with different "extras"? In the past year, I've bought four new ARMS #40s at different times from different dealers here on the EE. The thing that's puzzling me is that I've alternately received the rear BUIS either packaged in a box wrapped in plastic and green tissue or in an air "puffed" heat sealed plastic bag. The ones that come in the box with the green tissue have a safety wire on the nut, while the ones that come in heat sealed plastic don't. My question is, does the ARMS #40 BUIS come in different versions like a retail version and an OEM version and thus one has the safety and the other doesn't? | Unless I'm mistaken, I believe some of the dealers here sell what they call "take offs" meaning that they take them off of Stag AR's that come with ARMS #40's. I least that is what I was told from one of the dealers here when I raised the same question as to why mine was shipped in a plastic bag instead of the origional box. No big deal as they are still new sights, that were never used. |
