Hey guys,

Thought I'd get some input on this issue.  

I'm a recent Aimpoint convert (love it) and now I need a BUIS.  But after having spent some time with the ML3, it looks like in the very unlikely event of that thing crapping out, I could use the sight itself as a large ghost ring. I'll test that theory this weekend but what has been your experience with this method?  Can EOTech users do the same?

You'll be fine at 3 feet or so, but you'll find your idea sucks at 25 yards or more....

Yes, COM hits at 25 yards are a not a problem.  At room distances you don't really need to use your sights for COM hits.
