I've seen a couple of guys at 3-gun shoots with Open class AR's - and one of them had handgun-type sights on his. Open notch and post type, mounted separately (since he also had aperature/post and an EoTech stuck on it! Three sighting systems???) on the side of the rifle - would have to roll the rifle to the left at about 2:00 o'clock to use 'em...
Padre is having a hard time using the aperature sights - doesn't like 'em at all. Anyone know where I can snag a set of notch and post sights for a AR platform? He has a Colt flattop to start with...
