What is the main difference between the two?  Is it worth the extra money for the M3?  While I am asking questions are the ML2 and ML3 just as good if I do not plan on using NV?  I appreciate the help, I am trying to narrow down which model I want!

The M3 has a 2MOA dot instead of 4MOA.

I would go with the three.

Longer battery life, greater waterproofing, and available 2MOA dot size in the "3" versions.

If you do not plan on using NV the ML3 2MOA is a very good choice.

I traded my old aimpoint for a ML2 a long time ago

The older aimpoint was 3moa and it was Fuzzy because of my eyesight

ML2 with 4moa I see just fine ? Sits on a LMT M4 14.5

I also have a EOTECH 551 with 1moa dot. sits on a lmt m4 14.5

I get the SAME SIZE GROUPS with both M4`s

I dont BELIVE just because you have a smaller DOT you can shoot BETTER GROUPS
I do like the aimpoint with 4moa  Better than my 551
