Just ordered a Stag Arms flat-top with ARMS flip-up rear sight.  Looking to get an eotech for this rifle, is the 512 (inch longer than the 511) going to cramped on the rail? worry that it will be to close to rear sight for easy access to buttons.  But, 512 has the extra battery life.... any experience would be appreciated.

does the upper have m4 handguards or regular.  i have a 512 and i had issues with the handguards being to high for the  512 when i placed it ahead of my troy buis.  i just got a riser and all was good.  with regular handguards you will be fine.

try your photo again  the dreaded red x is all i see.

welcome back to the board.... been a way from it a while i see.  "joined sept 04"

edit:  I went to the website.  the 3l has the m4 handguards which sit a little bit higher than the top rail so if you need to run the eotech out over the front it will need a riser.

It will work . I have M-4 handguards on my RRA and have an EOtech 512 and BUIS installed. Its a little close but not bad unless you have ham hands.
