Can someone explain to me the difference between the aimpoint ML2 and the M2.  I can't find a difference listed anywhere, other than the M2 is the M68.

M2 is night vision compatable the ML2 is not, daytime use only.
On the M2 the 3 or 4 lowest settings can only be saeen through NV equipment. Also w/ M2 there is no "off" the lowest setting is the lowest NV setting but with the long battery life it does not matter. Hope this helps

You can use the ML2 on NV GEN2.

Is there anything less durable about the ml2?  This one is looking better, its cheaper and it actually turns off so it won't constantly eat batteries.

I know most people buy their own mounts for the aimpoint, but do any of them besides the m4 come with any type of mounts at all.

The M version on its lowest setting will hardly "eat" batteries...
