SWFA - Your thoughts ? Would like to know if any of you have done business with them and what you thought of their business practices and or service? Thanks |
|
Thanks ya'll. Here is the situation I ran into. Sat. I order a spotting scope from SWFA off their website. I check my account Sun and they have already charged my card. Great should have it soon. WRONG, get an e-mail today saying the following: "We regret to inform you that the following merchandise is currently back ordered:" The e-mail does not give me any clue if or when it will be shipped! So I sent them an e-mail back requesting the order be canceled and my money returned as fast as it was taken. They don't say when it will ever ship. I personally don't care for being charged for something that is not in stock and not being given any idea when it will be in stock and shipped. Think I will suggest to them to update their site to show what is in stock and not. If MIDWAY can do it with all the items they sell, SWFA should be able too. Thanks again for the responses and listening to my rant. |

They once made a major mistake on my order I ordered a Trijicon Reflex in Dec many yrs ago...they sent me an ACOG 4X by mistake When I told them about they said...keep it...and Merry Christmas... Dont know what else to say about them...other than that... Do I still do business with them?... Yep |

I ordered a SuperSniper over a year ago. First model had the "mushy" knobs. I contacted them asking for the quick fix; they said nope, send it in. Replaced it. The second one had a minor flaw; again I contacted them asking for a quick fix. Nope, send it back. They continued to work with me until I was satisfied. That speaks volumes for me. I'm a repeat customer. |
HOLY CRAP! Thats awsome! If that happened to my I would never buy from anyone else! SWFA gets my vote. CSGunworks is also very good to deal with. Both are good people and very friendly. Both have good prices on what I have ordered, just about the cheapest going on the net. |
SWFA is awesome and Mike at CSgunworks is too! Mike ads a lot to the boards here and he recently helped me out so I plan on acquiring a Nightforce scope from him as soon as the funds add up for me! |

I just put in an order for a GG&G GS1 rail mount and they emailed me this morning to let me know it was backordered. I'm pretty sure that they have refunded the money to my account, but I'm waiting to receive an email back so I know for sure. I still plan in getting a SS scope from them, but this time I will call before hand so I know it they have any in stock ahead of time. |
The curse of working in retail is that even if you are 99.9% error free, from the perspective of that 0.1% you mess up 100% of the time. Having a father who has worked in retail his whole life and seeing how tough that is you will never, ever see me trying to sell people shit! That being said, SWFA has some fantastic customer service, and I'm sure that it's all just a big mixup. Don't sweat it, they'll treat you right. Edit - Glad to see they took care of you! |
It Happened Mike @ CS is also very good...as is Grant from G&R....Paul from Bravo Co....Stick from Ranier...and PK Firearms all are very much g2g...imo |

Nope, a Bushnell 3200 5-15X MilDot with target turrets. Now I'm told it should be in early August. No fault of theirs, but I might have to go with my plan B who has several in stock at the same price. But, SWFA will always get the first shot. |
