How far forward do you all mount your Tri powers and Aim points. I have my Tri power in a LaRue cantilever mount and the height is perfect. What are the advantages to mounting it as far foward as possible as opposed to back close to my GG&G flip up rear BUIS? I would have to bet that there is more to it than just personal preference. |

The reasons to mount it forward: 1. Makes site acquisition faster 2. Reduces the amount of peripheral site blockage. 3. It also you to mount magnifier or NV to the back of it There maybe more but this is what I’m a were of. I played with the TX30 and I was impressed with them. ![]() Mike @ CSGW www.csgunworks.com [email protected] Here’s some testimonials about CS GunWorks What do YOU have to say about CS GunWorks What Do You Think Of Cs Gunworks? All very good points. I forgot about perspective as it relates to your vision behind the scope. This is especially valuable when you have both eyes open. I wonder if I can mount my AMT nightvision monocular behind my Tri power? Looks like I have another project to work on! A custom mount is what it will take. Good thing I am a machinist. |
