[ARCHIVED THREAD] - LMT fixed front sight question

I can not find a photo of the left side of it to see how it attaches. Does it have a large knob like that of the Colt detachable carry handle? Does anyone else have this sight and what is opinion if so. I want to put on a LT 9 inch rail.
