Thinking about getting a TA31F, but have read the ARMS 40 won't fit under it.  Who makes a quality BUIS that will?

Troy, Matech, GG&G, ARMS 40L, Knight's, to name a few

Both the Troy and the 40L has a low enough profile?

They'll both fit under the 31F.

Plenty of room under a Troy and KAC.

The KAC 600 meter flip up also fits under there.

Is it the ARMS with the horizontal cut and notch?

Will the Troy fit under the mount that comes with the ACOG, or do I need a Larue?

It will fit.

My ARMS 40 fits just fine under a TA31 on an ARMS 19S. it just barely clears.

I'm using Troy & ARMS 40L's too.

Unfortunately the Troy wont fit behind my ARMS 19S.

With the Troy I have to use LaRue mounts.

LaRue's ACOG mount is lower than the 19S, about the same as the ARMS 19LD, there's plenty of room under the 19S.

With an ARMS40 you would be able to move that acog back farther.

Yes the ARMS 40 has the contour that fits the 19S mount.  I can accomplish the same with a Troy or KAC backup sight and 19LD and LaRue mount.  Both of my 19S mounts are loose, as long as I zero and shoot it with the mount pushed forwarded in the slack, it'd still retain zero, I just don't want to bother with it anymore.
