I just finished building my first ar. Right now I am just using irons, but i really like the way the eotechs seem to operate. The only thing that has stopped me from buying one yet is that I want to know if it holds its zero when the batts. go dead or are changed out. Thanks for any input. Just got my second lower.....time to figure out what to build next.

Yes, holds zero. Zero is mechanically set, not electrical.
