I have a Vector V93 that I put an MFI low profile scope mount. I want to know which rings would work best to mount my Tasco Super Sniper SS10X42M. I want to clear the rear site, but want the lowest sitting rings. Thanks

First, measure how high above the rail the rear sight is.

Next, measure the scope eyepiece diameter, subtract 1.2" (30mm) for the tube diameter, and divide the answer by 2.

Add the two numbers together, and that gives you the minimum ring height you can use that will clear the rear sight.

So, if the rear sight is 0.5" high and you've got a 1.6" eyepiece:

1.6" - 1.2" = 0.4", divided by 2 gives 0.2".  Add 0.2" to 0.5", and you'll need 0.7" rings to clear.
