Hi, I'm looking for a decent scope mount for a 30mm  that has the ability to be removed and not lose zero.  Throw levers are a plus. It's for a 20" RRA that will be mostly for varmint.  I also need a detachable carry handle that is really accurate for plinking and target shooting.  Any thoughts?
Thanks

The LaRue are great mounts.  ARMS makes a good mount also the 22H are really nice.

If we can help you get LaRue or ARMS let me know.

what would you all suggest for a mount that is about as high as typical medium rings but pushes the scope forward a bit?  I have a high rise upper from dpms but cant get the longer scopes out far enough forward for proper eye relief.

If the LaRue is too much $ for you, Armalite makes a nice mount.  I don't think there is a throw lever option though.

There are a couple of possible options for this, but the high-rise upper limits things a good bit.

Some rings are offset and will put the scope a bit further out, but not usually very much, especially on the low rings.  Millett makes some, but for their turn-in mounts; BKL makes some nice ones, but only for dovetail mounts; and Ruger makes them for their mounts.  I'm sure there are some out there for Weaver/Picatinny mounts.

Another choice would be to get the lowest extended rail you can find and mount to it with low or ultra low rings.  I believe somebody makes a 1/4" riser, but I can't remember who.  Most are 1/2", which would be pretty high on top of your upper.

If you can use a 1/4" extended rail and low rings, that would be pretty similar to most medium rings, which are usually around 1/2"
