| Does anyone use one of the Aimpoint 2x comp sights? I was looking at buying one of these and have never seen one in person before. Since it was a 2x sight I was wondering how the FOV was on them? Do they have eye releif like a normal rifle scope or can I mount the sight far forward like a normal 1x red dot sight? How are they at low light? Any thing else I should know about these sights? Thanks for any info! |

No BS, the 2X Aimpoints are regular models that failed leak tests. This is why the 2X eye piece is epoxied on, instead of being removeable like it should be. The regular Aimpoints are great, but as far as I'm concerned, the 2X models and the 3X magnifiers are a rip off and Aimpoint should be ashamed for charging so much for them. Even though it's probably not as high of quality as the Aimpoints, I think I'd opt for one of the Burris XTS-235's way before an Aimpoint 2X. It's what Aimpoint should have done for a 2X model. |
