I've seen an artical here and there, and it looks good. But, the price is almost $600

Yeah, what is up with the price on these things? Are they made out of solid gold or something? I mean it's a fricking 0x red dot sight that's small. We're not paying for new technology, we're not paying for materials...what are we getting for $600?
