[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ordering an ACOG

I'm looking at buying a TA 31F in the near future. How long does it take to receive when you order from their website? Their lead time says 20-24 weeks and I'm not exactly sure what that means. Feel kinda stupid but I hope they aren't saying it takes that long to get them because they are back ordered.

While Trijicon is a great product, DO NOT order new products from the factory.
They are way TOO slow and overpriced.

SWFA has the best combination of price and service, plus they have a lot in stock.

It doesn't end at SWFA. I have seen a NIB TA01NSN for $795, and no it wasn't on eBay or anything. On the same website I saw a TA31 for just under $1000. I can't remeber where though damnit! Although I agree, SWFA probably is the best balance of price of service.

Thanks for the link. I looked at their products and several are considerably cheaper, while others are not. Is it safe to say that I can receive my ACOG within two weeks of placing an order with them?

I got my brand new TA31RCO-M4 ACOG with kill-flash from eaglefirearms.net for under $1000.

Wow that's the cheapest I've found yet!! I like the option of buying a Killflash with it. Too bad the one I want is back ordered. Have you had good experience dealing with them in the past? Any idea how long it would take until they have more in stock and could ship it to me?

They’re good to deal with. The guy I talked with used to work at Trijicon and I think there is some connection with that and the prices since there are based in Michigan. He is really knowledgeable and you can call or E-mail them asking to be notified when the model you want is in.

I am picking up an Aimpoint ML3 from theEE for $390. Got a guy on fBay that has a TA31RCOM4 for $1099 I am working with right now as well. Should handle all my scope needs for the time being.
