I was playing with my ACOG today, its BRIGHT and sunny outside here in S Fla. and looking through the scope is killing me, its so bright its uncomfortable to look through. My question is, what can I do to cut down the massive amount of bright light coming through the optic w/o losing its effectiveness? OR am I just being a pussy! |

Killflash will help some but not a lot. I you take a Butler Creek cap cut so that if fits on the ACOG and drill a ½” hole in the front of the cap it will reduce the amount of light and will not effect you field-of-view. It works like an F-Stop in a camera. You do have to tape the cap onto the ACOG.
