Several months back the Batteries in my EOTech exploded/leaked, EOTech sent me a new battery comp, took care of me, no problem due to deffective contacts, but it seems like my EOTech isnt as bright as it used to be since then but I could be fooling myself- SO my question is Does any of y'alls reticles wash out on light colors-white target etc, in bright sunlight? I wanted to ask before I bother EOTech again, just think theres something with the brightness of my EOTech when its all the way up, but wanted an idea first |
Everything is always recommended by the manufacturer to store it without batteries. However, I talked to Calvin at Brightflashlights.net and he said that unless you are planning on storing something for a long time (like 5+ years), you are fine to leave the batteries installed. He recommended using good batteries (Energizer, Duracell) and to make sure they are new when installed. When replacing batteries, always replace all of them at the same time with new ones to insure an equal charge. |
