Does anyone have any experience with thr Larue Irondot? I'm looking at one for my patrol rifle and I'm torn between that and the Eotech with the D1 reticle. I find that the regular Eotech reticle is too busy for me. I've used the Aimpoints but had problems looking through the tube. Would the Irondot be suitable for patrol use? I'm concerned about dot brightness and the ability to pick up the dot in bright sunlight and wonder if the dot will wash in a dark room when running a 9volt weapon light. My parents have offered to buy me an ACOG TA31F for use at work. I just don't know if that would be the best bet for an urban patrol rifle where shots would rarely be taken from over 100 yds (if ever) |
