I took my carbine to the range to zero and cowitness my CTAC, and had it up and running within about 10 rounds. The proceeded to work on the short range 25 & 50 yd since this is an HD carbine. After 200 rounds I decided that I like the combination of the CTAC and my Bushy A3. Impressions- The CTAC was not hard to zero at all and cowitnessed perfectly with the irons, I was able to hold my groups at 1-2" using Lake City, Q3131, and Wolf 55 gr FMJ. Targeting was fast and I didn't notice any parallax problems or wash out even on the lowest settings. Additionally I had added the CAA stock saddle to the factory 6 pos, and the difference is pretty amazing in the cheek weld and comfort, it's worth the $20...... Overall I am satisfied with the CTAC and have stopped looking at optics for now. |
