Are there any decent optics out there for around $150?  I don't have much to spend right now, moving and such.  I'd like something with some magnification.  I looked at the Truglo sights but they aren't getting the greatest reviews.  Same with Barska.  Any help would be appreciated.

I would just use the iron sights but my eyesight is for shit.

Honestly, I would say that generally, you get what you pay for. If you look around REAL hard, sometimes you'll find some used trijicon, aimpoint, or eotech dot sights on ebay or gunbroker for a couple hundred ish.

You should be able to get into a Burris for that, or maybe a little bit more.

+1

This is the your best compromise in that price range

Thanks guys, that's what I ended up going with, the Burris Fullfield II.  May eventually move up to something nicer but this should do for now.

You will like it. I've had mind since Oct and think it is a great deal. How are you going to mount it?

I ended up using this mount.

It seems like a decent mount for the price and it is pretty solid.

I'll post pics this weekend after I finish my build.

I would think that will give the eye relief you need. Get into a routine of dropping in into the rail and pulling it backwards till there is no movement and then screw it tight. Do it the same way every time. Let us know how it shoots and some pics. Nice scope.
