| I am ordering a RRA predator pursuit . I am wanting an illuminated retical with at least 3 to 5 power. I am leaning toward the leupold mark IV 1.5*5 or the ACOG 4* or the accupoint 3*9. Does the tritium on the trijicon optics fade? was is the life time? Any other suggestions? Thanks I will be using mainly for coyote hunting and target shooting. |
| The reticle of the accupoint was not bright enough for BAC in daylight for me. I haven't used the leupold, but I don't think it has bright daytime illumination. For a longer range gun like that 9x would be helpful, but I don't think the reticle on the accupoint is all that great on small targets at long range. |
The Accupoint 1.25-4x with a LaRue mount is a really nice setup. The Accupoint is very bright and is bright enough for daytime use they are just as bright as ACOG.  The ACOG’s are at the top of my list for AR15 platform rifles.  The Leupold 1.5-5x MRT M2 are great scopes also. They work great on an SPR setup.  Another one to look at is the MeOpta 1-4x K-DOT. There illumination is daytime visible.   Here the MeOpta next to an S&B Short Dot.
