I am looking into getting a Eotech. In the future I may want to get one of the new magnifiers that they are coming out with. Are all the Eotech compatible with this? Or just the newer 553's?

I have an ARMS 40L on my Colt M-4, I assume that this will co-withness with all Eotechs....

IIRC they are all compatible but I'm only about 75% sure on that.

According to this thread all EOTech models are compatible with their new magnifier models.

All BUIS should have an absolute co-witness with EOTechs without mounts except the 553 which has a built in mount, with that model and EOTechs with optional mounts they have a lower 1/3 co-witness.

don't think in concept of military and civiilan.

just about ALL eotechs are "marked" as LEO/MIL only.

i don't know, thats one of the many reasons i chose to get the AA model.

N batteries are commonly available, I see them at my local CVS, Walgreens, Radio Shack, Wal Mart, KMart...................
