| I've got a problem zeroing an EOTech on my work AR. I've found that a 50 yard zero with a dot sight is kind of difficult. I've used standard black man-sized targets, which at 50 are a black blur (can't see the rings), and a multitude of printed letter-size downloaded targets. I've even tried to print my own using various sized black circles. The dot, even at a lower brightness setting, seems to cover the target. Crosshair-type targets for zeroing scopes get covered, too, since they are generally smaller that the 1 MOA dot. Am I trying to be too precise? Should I settle for keeping the holes in a 1.5 or 2" circle and be happy with that? |

other thread with eotech zero targets check out that link it has the eotech zero and bore sighting targets at the bottom. |
Yep, I think your being a little too critical. Zero at 50m using a DIY target with a dot large enough for you to see at 50m. Adjust your POI to the center of the target and drive on! |
