it's either a comp ML3 or ML2 (same body) i have the ML3 mounted on my tactical "cary handle" with an aimpoint low ring, the end result is lower 1/3 co witness in the pic the aimpoint has the protective rubber cover on it (it's been removed) so it may look a bit different than the RRA pic |

That's one of the original CompM or ML models, but it doesn't matter for your purposes because everything in the CompM series is the same size. The ring in that pic is the cheap little thing that Aimpoint shipped with those older models. They stopped including it because everybody was buying a better mount and tossing that ring in the box o' parts in teh back of the closet and forgetting about it. ETA that the low-mount ring as shown in the post above is a much better ring and is easier to find since it's still in production. It's also the lowest ring available at this time and may be the only one that'll work with that rail height. |
