I need a scope base for my flattop. No-one around here has one for me to try. I have a 6-24x40 scope with AO on the bell. I would like a mount that is not too high. I would also like it to be easily removed (thumb screws) so I can install my a2 handle easily. I have a one inch scope. I want one that fits tight so as to return as close to zero as possible. My front sight is removable so clearin it is not a concern of mine. Also to mention I have the standard a3 flatop and a aluminum hanguard so from the top of the receiver to the handguard there is not much dropoff and my handguard does not tape. The scope I have has 3 inches of eye relief.

Thanks

The Larue SPR mount has everything you're asking for, so long as you don't mind the price.

The Armalite 1-piece will handle all that for less money.  The LaRue is nicer, for sure.  Depends on your budget.
