Is it worth it? I'm mainly interested in a mount that doesn't add any height, but can retain its zero if removed from the upper receiver. From it's ad, that pretty much describes the accucam.

So those who own or previously owned them I'd like to know if they work as advertised...

I have one on my 511, and really like it.  It's rock solid, and the EOTech seems more straight on the rifle than using the thumbscrew, where is seemed to list to one side.  It's easy to take on and off, but won't come off on accident.  I've been too lazy to test it's repeat zero capacity, so I can't comment, but since it's a red dot, and not a scope, it's not like you have sub MOA accuracy anyone.
My advice would be to get it, and you'll like it.

Just ordered it from Rainer arms. Had it for $76 and free shipping, can't wait for it to arrive

Bought one. Mounted it to my flattop in 5 minutes. Returns to zero within 1/2 MOA each and every time it has been removed. It's an extremely solid mount for the Eotech and worth the cost.
