Wes, Is there a Docter mount/34mm ring half option? I don't see the 34mm as even being an option on the Larue website. Although I just re-read your ad and see that your offering a 34mm option. Next question would be are 34mm rings available? And would they also work on the MK11 mount? |

Hey Wes, something else entirely.. What type of URX is that? It looks like it has a notch cut into the end of the 6 o clock rail. Also, is that a 16"? |

Does anybody know if a "wrap around" mount, with protective ears, is made to put this on TA31? There are theses type of mounts for the mini reds, but I don't recall seeing one for the DR. I have a DR mounted on my TA01NSN. I need a mount for my TA31. Thanks.....Chad |
It looks like this dealer has them for the TA31. www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=864 |
When I find one with the protective ears like most Jpoint ACOG mounts I will GRAB IT! Anyone seen one??? |

Docter actually makes one. I've only seen it listed here: www.calssportingarmory.com/DocterOptics.htm I contacted Cals and they are not sure when it will be available again. Reason given was Docter was using their resources to make the ACOG DOC mount which uses the non-protective wing version. Don't ask me why - I think it's ridiculous. The protective version is the way to go.

Not sure about the LaRue mount but Matt Burkett has a nice mount for a doctor or a jpoint that can be reversed for a lefty. ![]() |

The consensus is that reflex sights work better if mounted as far forward as practical. I just received the Larue LT-137 30mm ring mount. It's mounted on the left side of my NF 2.5-10 setup as I am a left handed shooter. Still saving up for the Dr Optic which I will buy from MSTN. Originally I was going to use a YHM angled mount on the free float rail, but playing around with it I realised I'd have to roll the rifle 45 degrees which will cause me to lose some peripheral view on the right side due to the NF scope. With the Larue mount, all I have to do is lift my head slightly. Everything is a trade off, I'd prefer to have the reflex sight closer to the axis of the bore but at the same time do not want to lose peripheral view. I'm not saying one is better than the other. You have to decide what will work best for you. |

I was a little hesitant about the Larue LT-137 SPR mount, as I've never actually seen one in person. The ring can go on either side of the SPR mount. All you have to do is remove the base that the Dr Optic/J-Point sits on and remount it facing the correct way. This base has two distinct sides, I'm guessing because the mounting points are different between the Dr optic and J-Point. You just flip over to the one that fits yours. |
