How do I get the reticle of my scope level?  I'd prefer to not have to buy another accessory, but if I have to, I will.  No doubt this has been discussed before, so a link to a former discussion thread would suffice.

Thanks

The wheeler engineering Level-Level-Level works well and is inexpensive.  But since you don’t want to buy anything the best way I have found to do it is the following:

Drop a plumb line down a long hallway, preferably against a blank wall.  I like to use 4/5/6mm climbing accessory rope, something that has some thickness but still very flexible.

Put the rifle in a rest and level based on the action. The best it to get a small bubble level to sit on the rails inside the action. If you have to you can set a small level across the scope base. (The scope base may not be perfectly level as holes in the action may not be drilled dead center in the receiver)

Use the Plumb line to reference the vertical crosshair. Double check everything is level once you get it set and snug the ring caps down.

I like the looks of that wheeler gizmo; unless I hear of something better, I think I'll pick one up.  Tightwad though I am, I think I can handle $10--especially considering how much I just spent on my nightforce.    Thanks SNIPERm88

well you need to figure out how to level the rifle itself first, then you can use a plumb line to and align your crosshairs with.
