I have a Ruger Mini 14 with a B square side scope mount that has never been satisfactory--it just will not maintain a zero setting. This is the old model Mini 14 and not the Ranch Rifle. What scope mount would you recommend? I recently looked at the UltiMak Scout mount that replaces the handguard. Would an EOTech sight or Red Dot type be useable mounted in the Scout position? How about the AmegaRange mount? Any others that you might recommend? I have a Mosin Nagant with Scout Scope mounting which I find quite suitable. Thanks E-mail me direct if it is convenient. |

I ordered an amegaranges mount for a Garand. It has given excellent results. I ordered an ultimak mount for an M-14. It mounted well, but I haven't test fired it yet. I like the eotech and the aimpoint. I own an eotech. It has worked great for me. I got the AA battery nv capable model. I figure AA batteries will always be around and fairly easy to find. |
