I recently ordered an arms #40 and I plan to use it with a yhm folding front sight. I read today in the bushmaster catalog that when using an arms #40, I should use a .040" taller, front sight post. My question is should I put a taller front sight post in the YHM?

Shoot the rifle first and see. Or order one JIC you need it to zero at the range you plan on using it.

If the front sight is a gas block mount, you'll be in the same boat as me. I had to get one for the exact same setup.

You should be fine, I think the taller post is for when Bushmasters carry handle sight is used with their FSB.
