I have forgotten which way to turn front post. Is it clockwise to move point of impact down?

Lefty loosey, righty tighty.
So turning it clockwise would lower the front sight, raising your POI.
Turn it counter clockwise to lower your POI.

Thanks NOAIM. I wasted fifty rounds Saturday morning. Only hit target once at one hundred yards. I had a fiber optic site on front. It was a little too intense for me. Put original post back in.
