Hello.. I just purchased the ProMag Cantilever mount for my Aimpoint and I was wondering what some good options would be for a BUIS.

I was thinking of either the ARMS #40, or the LMT "Tactical Sight" (the one that looks like the standard A2 sight cut off from carry handle). Would it be easy for me to use the Aimpoint without having to co-witness with the LMT sight, and very easily co-witness also?  I'm sorry for the dumb question but I'm new to BUIS's.  Any help would be greatly appreciated, and would you guys post some pics if you have them of Cantilever mounted Aimpoints and the cut-off A2 style sight?  I'm not sure if the Aimpoint is too far back on mine..

I have no experience with the mount you are talking about.

Here is an LMT rear behind an Aimpoint. The Aimpoint is in an ARMS 22M68 with cantilever spacer.

I have since sold the ARMS mount and have gone to a Larue mount. I don't have any other pictures of my LMT mounted up behind a cantilever.

Sorry, my crappy dial-up connection likes to double tap on me.

Yes I have, and I didn't learn much from that thread.  I just don't know how easy it is to co-witness with a cantilever and a non-flip BUIS such as the LMT, and how easy it is to use the Aimpoint without co-witnessing with it.

The LMT BUIS is a Fixed iron sight

The arms 40  folds down

Both are very good and work well

Well that's too bad. The whole idea of the thread was to get an idea of the different options available to you, and if you see something that appeals to you, you can IM the owner for more details.
