should I go for the Leupold 3-9x36 MR/T M1 Illuminated Mil Dot MK4 # 57050 or ACOG M-4??? Jamie Barkwell |
Here is a photo of one my favorite Leupold for an SPR. This is the New 2.5-8x36mm M2 1/2moa turrets and the TMR reticle. The M2 turret has a zero stop and will get you out to 700yds quickly.  The M2 CAM say 308 but because the CAM is 1/2moa clicks it makes this scope non-cartage specific scope. I really like the M2 1/2moa cam.  The MR/T M1 knobs are great turrets but for a Tactical scope I like the M2 more. Jamie the ACOG can do a 700m shot but not as affect as the Leupold. ACOGS are great scope and they are great for what they are. They are one of my favorite scope for a AR platforms. I'm a big fan of ACOGs, I have a TA31, TA31F, TA55, and a TA11C, but for an SPR I would go with a ILL LR/T 3.5-10 TMR M3 if I had to do it again as I like the paralax adjustment and a Killflash ARD or Scope Shade. Absolutely no complaints on my ILL MR/T 3-9 M3 TMR however.

How does this compare to something like the armalite scope mount or other 1 piece mounting options? thanks!
