Ok, dumb question time. Why are tjhe Aimpoint covers solid rather than transparent, i.e. see through. Seems a logical idea. Regards, C1 |

I've seen an Aimpoint on the EE that had this feature. That was the only one I've ever seen offered like that. Usually they are the solid caps but you'll also find the rubber military ones floating around that are meant to be strapped to the QRP mount's knob.
