| I am trying to come up with a set up for my AR with a scope with no crosshairs and a laser sight (not a red dot scope). Basiclly you project the dot from the laser sight, and use the scope to see what the dot is on. Does any one have a set up like this, or will it work? Any input will be appreciated! |
| It will only work at night but I have used a 3.5-10X Leupold with a Surefire laser and could see the dot for over 2K yards on flat objects like a building. You can literlly see the beam itself for a good 1K yards. You cant see it at all during the daytime on anything lit directly with bright sunlight. You are better off with a lit reticle scope IMO. |
