After a few months of no range time, I took out the AR today and noticed something "different" about my EoTech.

As you can see in the pic, the prism that sits on the top side of the hood seems to be "falling". I don't really know how to describe it, but it was never that way before. It has not been dropped or beat up, all I know is that now it's VERY noticeable when obtaing a sight picture.

I've sent a copy of the pic the EoTech to see what they have to say. Any one else ever notice this?

That's normal, you just never noticed it before.

I REALLY never noticed it before. I swear it was NEVER that prominent. It used to be a "clear" window.

Can someone take a similair pic to ease my mind?

Here's the best one I have illustrating the same thing as your pic.

It's normal.

Your reticle fell right off the window...

Sounds like a case of "reticle disfunction" too me

I think what you are looking at is the 'glue' that holds the lens in the frame.

It's the edge of a solid piece mounted on top of the inside of the window (hard to 'splain)......I guess it's the norm.
