Hey Guys I wonder if any of you have used or currently use a Bore Sighting Laser that fits in the chamber. They should allow you to quickly sight in your optics to very close precision since the laser beam is direct from the chamber. I was thinking this is a must-have in case my scope is knocked from alignment, I can quickly re-sight it. I have also seen some lasers that fit into the muzzle end of the barrel. They appear to work the same way, but I would probably prefer to have the chamber fit laser. I would love to have some feedback from any who use these. Here's some links I was looking at. They seem moderately priced. http://www.huntsinc.com/acusight/default.asp http://www.opticsplanet.net/aimshotlaserboresightsarbors.html http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=0518_scopes-0518_optics-catfeathunt&id=0012854711491a&navCount=2&podId=0012854&parentId=cat601329&navAction=push&catalogCode=IG&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat601329&hasJS=true |

I have used the aimshot(the one that drops in the chamber), works very well IMHO, every rifle I have seen one used in, it lined right up with the iron sights at 100yds(many discussions of the laser will not be where the irons are, yadayada in local gunshop BS sessions,)its within 2moa or less, , have used these to zero nightvision with too, my thoughts are as well as the aimshot worked with what I have seen, the kids over in the sand box ought to have them as issue equipment, it ought to/should save alot of frustrations and ammo on checking zeros ect ![]() |
+1 I have a couple and several sleeves - very good for at least getting on paper with glass and red-dots need very little adjustment afterwards (I zero my red-dots at 50 yards). |
