| Hello, I have the chance to buy a Rigel 3300 NV monocular (GEN 1) with headgear for $150. Does anyone on here have any experiance or an opinion on this product? Appriciate any help. |

I wouldn't buy anything less than a GenII. Price is more but so is the quality. GenI would drive me crazy, just giving you enough visability to see blurs and blobs in the dark but not enough to actually be able tell what those blurs and blobs are. It also depends on what your use is. If you just want the NV to play around with, I would say go for it. If you want it for hunting or anything else I don't recommend GenI stuff. |
